Handel’s Messiah is beautiful choral music telling the story of the life of Christ. In song, we learn about Christ’s Nativity, Passion, Resurrection and Ascension.
The spreading of the first gospel is gloriously summarised in the Hallelujah chorus.
You are warmly invited to take part in this Lent course, starting on Monday 10th March and ending on the 7th April.
It will be time of listening to extracts from the Messiah, while reflecting on the Christian journey, as we approach Easter (the Passion).
Meeting in the Methodist Church, Bishopsteignton, arriving at 6.45, for tea and coffee, with a prompt start at 7 pm and finishing about 8.15 pm.
