The Norman tower houses three bells (one c.1450 and two later bells of 1607 and 1686) supported by the oldest original medieval bell frame in Devon. This is one of the oldest churches in Devon, still in regular use. The bells are only rung on very special occasions as the frame is in a delicate state. Access to the bells is up a very tight and winding staircase, not suitable for a claustrophobe.
