This offer has been accepted.

Rev Carol Green writes "I’m delighted that David is coming to our Mission Community as Team Vicar. He will work across the Team providing ministry in all the churches with a half time responsibility for overseeing and developing our ministry to young people. We look forward to welcoming him, his wife Donna and their four young children."
Hi, I’m Dave.
I’ve got a wonderful wife called Donna and four brilliant kids, Joy 8, Edie 6, Dora 4 and Wilf 1. I was born in Scotland but moved around the UK and even a stint in Tunisia with my family as a child. I’ve studied Astrophysics, youth ministry and theology and a couple more theology degrees for good luck.
Donna was actually ordained before me as Priest and it was while she was doing her curacy I felt my previous calling to youth work evolve into being ordained priest also. At one point we thought we were infertile but have ended up with four children. Family life is busy, fun and sometimes frustrating! Donna has taken time from ministry to be with the kids.
My favourite Bible verse is Romans 12:2 ‘Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world but instead be transformed by the renewing of your mind’. This is a verse that has followed me through my faith journey.
As a couple and then as a family we’ve lived in the West Country for many years including Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Bristol and Taunton. I look forward to meeting people when we move in March.
Much love from the Wilkies.
